About us
Cancer Council Western Australia is the leading cancer charity and cancer control organisation in Western Australia.
Established over 50 years ago, the Cancer Council has a proud history of advocacy and action on cancer issues and policy. We are a non-government organisation dedicated to reducing the incidence and impact of cancer in our community.
We aim to achieve this by funding cancer research projects, educating the community about cancer prevention and by providing support for cancer patients, their families and loved ones to improve their quality of life and assist them with the many complex questions and decisions that are part of their cancer journey.
Relay for LifeRelay for Life is a fun 24-hour team event to raise funds to further the fight against cancer. The highlights of this event are the Survivor's Walk and the Candlelight Ceremony. Team members fundraise prior to the event and the public are welcome to participate in the moving ceremonies and support team members.
