Did you catch the Sunday Night report last night on medical marijuana?

The report was from the US and it outlined that the biggest group taking up weed are the over 50’s. And that more and more people are using marijuana to help treat problems associated with old age and chronic illness.

In Australia the medical use of cannabis is not permitted by law.

The federal law regarding drug use places marijuana in Schedule 1 – this means that it has no medical use and cannot be prescribed by a doctor.
